Join me for a 3-hour workshop where I will create a safe space for you to explore your experience of being white.
Looking into white identity and race dynamics can bring up strong emotions. It may be the first time you have considered what it means to be a white person or maybe being white is something you are acutely aware of. You may feel proud, feel guilty or it’s something you feel neutral about?
Our group will be limited to 10 people who identify as white. We will explore our personal and individual experience, as well as, look at the wider social and political aspects of white identity.
What to expect
We will have large and small group discussions plus interactive exercises to support your exploration.
The workshop will take place on zoom, lasting 3 hours which includes a 20min break.
I have experience facilitating online, I am purposefully keeping our group small to guarantee open, intimate discussions and exercises.
Zoom
I will send a zoom link by email the day before the workshop, there is nothing to download. Once you have booked your place, I will contact you with further info and I will be available to chat over the phone if you have any concerns regarding the technology.
Payment
Payment will be by donation which can be made before or after the workshop, whatever works best for you. No one will be turned away because of lack of funds. All money raised will go to charity. Once you have booked your place, I will contact you with more information.
