A journey towards change

Psychotherapy, Community Building, Group & Conflict Facilitation

Our stories have the potential to heal, create & empower.

Hi and a very warm welcome to my website.

I’m Mark and I’m a UKCP registered Psychotherapist offering therapy, group work, training and workshops.

Within my Psychotherapy practice, my expertise lies in supporting trauma survivors and those who've had difficult childhood experiences. I've got a lot of knowledge and expertise in addressing the therapeutic needs of survivors of rape, sexual assault, child sexual exploitation/abuse, and domestic abuse. Specifically, I have extensive experience working with male survivors of sexual violence and men in custody who have experienced different aspects of trauma.

Regarding therapy, I like to take a holistic perspective, which means looking at the bigger picture and considering all aspects of your life and well-being. I understand that different parts of your life are interconnected and can affect each other like pieces of a puzzle. The stories we tell our selves or the stories shared through our families or our wider community can also affect the way we live and the choices we think we have. By understanding the whole picture, we can find new ways to explore whats important.

Initially, we will focus on building trust and exploring what's going on for you. I'm committed to tailoring our sessions to fit your circumstances, experiences, and needs. Whatever you've been through, whether it's addiction, an ongoing crisis, sexual trauma or challenging past experiences, I'm here to support you. I won't be a silent bystander; I'm all about being on your side and challenging when needed.

I deeply respect your courage in seeking support, and I appreciate that it's not easy. If you want to express an interest in working with me or book a free initial appointment, just reach out anytime.

Building Stronger Communities Through Understanding Class

Would you like to deal more skilfully with social class and classism in your organisation, social action group, work place and wider community?
Class dynamics are deep-rooted in Britain, we need to talk about it and include everyone in order to create change.

'Mark brings a rare honesty and clarity to his work. It's a joy to see the skill with which he weaves different strands together.'
